Our Mission
Buying something should not mean opening twenty tabs. Toptrustpick narrows every category down to the five products truly worth your money, and shows the scores behind each pick so you can decide in minutes instead of evenings.
Why We Exist
There are more products, more listings and more “best of” articles than ever, yet it has never been harder to know what to buy. Specs are inflated, reviews are scattered across stores, and sponsored placements are often dressed up as advice.
We built Toptrustpick to be the page we wanted for ourselves: one clear shortlist per category, explained in plain language, with nothing hidden about how the ranking was made.
Why Only Five?
Five is a deliberate limit, not a round number:
- Easy to compare: enough choice to cover different budgets and needs, few enough to keep in your head.
- A higher bar: every product has to beat the rest of the field to earn a spot.
- Deeper research: fewer products means more time spent on each one.
- A clear order: the ranking tells you exactly how the options stack up against each other.
What Makes Us Different

A real shortlist
We do the narrowing for you. No endless lists, just the five that matter.

Scores you can read
Every pick shows its score on each criterion, so you can see why it ranks where it does.

Every budget
The best choice is not always the most expensive. We include strong options at different prices.

Honest trade-offs
Each product gets clear pros and cons. Nothing is perfect, and we say so.
Our Values
Research first
Recommendations are built from manufacturer specifications, expert testing, long-term owner feedback and our own hands-on checks wherever possible.
Independent rankings
Rankings are never for sale. We may earn a commission when you buy through our links, but that never decides which product wins.
Open about everything
How we research, how we score and how we make money are all documented on this site and easy to find.
Reader first
Every page is designed to help you make a confident decision quickly, without pop-ups, filler or clutter.
How We Make Money
Toptrustpick is reader-supported. When you buy through a link on our site, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That income lets us:
- keep the site free for everyone,
- spend real time researching each category,
- update rankings as new products launch,
- stay independent from advertisers.
A higher commission never earns a higher rank. Read the full details in our Affiliate Disclosure.
