Affiliate Disclosure

How Toptrustpick earns money, and why it never changes our rankings.

The Short Version

Some links on Toptrustpick are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never affects which products we rank or in what order.

What Is an Affiliate Link?

An affiliate link is a tracked link to a retailer. When you click it and make a purchase, the retailer pays us a small referral fee. The price you pay is the same as if you had gone to the store directly.

Who We Work With

We may participate in affiliate programs run by online retailers and brands, including marketplaces and individual manufacturer stores. Links to these partners appear as buttons such as “Check price” or as product names in our rankings.

How This Affects Our Rankings

It doesn’t. Our rankings are produced by the process described in Our Methodology:

  • Products are scored before we look at any affiliate relationship.
  • A higher commission never earns a higher position.
  • We include products from retailers we have no partnership with when they deserve a spot.
  • Brands cannot pay to be included, reviewed or moved up.

Why We Use Affiliate Links

Commissions cover the time spent researching, writing and updating our rankings, and let us keep the site free and free of intrusive ads.

Prices and Availability

Prices, stock and deals shown or linked on our site change often and are set by the retailer. Always confirm the final price and terms on the retailer’s website before you buy.

Free Products and Samples

If a manufacturer ever provides a product for review, we will say so clearly in that review. Receiving a sample never guarantees a place in our rankings or a positive verdict.
